WEEK 5 - FYP I : SITE VISIT

For the week 5 i plan to do site visit . I choose Mashiba Elevator for my site visit for collaboration for my Final Year Project and also to get some knowledge about the elevator.

Objective:

i. To porpose the project.

ii. To do collaboration.

iii. To get knowledge about elevator.

The figure above about the maintenance report from the company. This a example maintenance report that have been done by Mashiba Elevator. Through this it oppened my mind to decide which part that i can use to do my project. After, the engineer brief to me it give me idea to choose motor as the main part of my project.

Futhermore, i ask the Mashibe Elevator if i can use one of any site elevator to do a collaboration and to test the project. Unfortunately, they refuse to do a collaboration because of the private and confidental of company.

Conclusion :

As the conclusion for this week it give me clearly idea for my project. Choosing electrical motor for the prediction for my project is suitable. But, after the discussion and they not agree to do a collaboration i think to do my own prototype.
